THE LIGHTS FADE TO BLACK...the music dies away. For a moment, the audience feels that anything could happen.
The lights come up and the show begins. This is live, community theater at Stage III, and you never know what to expect.
Our intimate theater-in-the-round stage and our 100 percent volunteer cast and crew can transport our audiences to Victorian England, a Manhattan apartment, or a Tennessee courtroom. Wherever our plays take you, you'll meet unforgettable characters and carry home a wealth of memories.
Stage III is a non-profit, all-volunteer community theater that has produced over 100 shows since its start in 1980. In 2001, we moved into our own building, located at 900 North Center near several restaurants. Our season runs from September to June, and features six productions chosen to appeal to a broad spectrum of the community.
