ABOUT

When you step into the lobby of Casper’s Stage III Community Theatre, you can see a unique slice of Casper’s history, represented in the poster collages that adorn the walls. From the classics to the latest Broadway hits, and even original works by Casper playwrights, Stage III has been bringing professional quality live theatre to the greater Casper area for over 40 years.

Winner of the Governor’s Arts Award in 2011 for outstanding contribution to the arts, Stage III has made audiences hold their breath in suspense, laugh out loud or shed a few tears.  In addition to six shows each season (September to June) and occasional special productions, we also stage Escape Rooms themed to match selected shows.

Each production is made up entirely of volunteers, from the producers, directors and actors, to the all-important set builders, sound and light technicians, ushers, box officers and backstage crew. They give their time and talents to educate, entertain, and help provide fundraising opportunities for other local non-profit organizations.

We are supported in part by the Wyoming Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as out local advertisers and sponsors. But it is our audience members that make theatre come alive, and we are grateful for the ticket sales and the generosity of donors which keep the theatre afloat.

You can help Stage III continue to support the art of live theatre in Casper by becoming a season ticket holder, volunteering your time and talent, or giving a tax deductible donation. Our mailing address is Stage III Community Theatre, 900 N. Center, Casper, WY 82601. Call (307) 234-0946 or email info@stageiiitheatre.org for more information. And don’t forget to come see a show!
